The Artist is Relationship: How to love self, process, and people as a sustainable model for living. Students will explore the complexities of relationships from a variety of angles in pursuit of practical structures and tools that expand the possibilities of connectiveness, intimacy, and knowing. Through class projects and discussions, students learn ways to listen intuitively, communicate more effectively, and harness their emotional intelligence to create deeper, more impactful relational bonds. By examining the self's attachment to identity, culture, community, and history, students learn to contextualize their experiences in ways that empower both the storyteller and the story. Topics include: Product/brand vs. self, setting boundaries. self care, partner vs. fan, and building a creative blueprint for life.
